Top Finalist Again on the 2026 Happening List

We just got the news, and it still doesn’t get old. Little Sprouts has been named a Top Finalist on the 2026 Montco Happening List in the Kids Day Care category.

That makes it five straight years our families have put us at the top of this list:

Two back to back wins. Three consecutive finalist years. Five straight years of Montgomery County families pointing the rest of the county our way.

We don’t take that lightly.

Both campuses share the recognition this year

For the first time, the 2026 listing names both of our campuses, Collegeville and North Wales, together. That’s not a small thing. It means our newest location pulled enough family votes, fast, to be recognized alongside the campus that’s been earning these honors since 2022. To the Collegeville families who showed up for us so early in our second campus’s story: thank you. You put us on the map there.

What this list actually is

The Happening List isn’t a panel of judges or a pay-to-play directory. It’s a public vote. Montgomery County families fill out the ballots. The same parents who do drop off at 7:15, who pack the lunchboxes, who text us late on a Thursday night about their toddler’s first lost tooth, who show up to the parent picnics rain or shine.

So when this list comes out, what we’re really seeing is you, telling the rest of the county where to bring their kids.

That hits us hard, in the best way.

Why this one means more than a plaque

We’re locally owned and family run. Yes, when voting opens we let our families know and ask them to participate, the same way plenty of other businesses do. What stands out is that year after year, our families actually show up. They take a few minutes out of a busy week to vote, and enough of them do it to put us at the top of a county wide list.

That tells us we’re doing something right. It also raises the bar, because the families who voted know exactly what they expect from us tomorrow morning.

What we think you keep voting for

We can’t speak for the families who fill out the ballots, but here’s what parents most often tell us during tours, drop off, and end of year notes:

• Real teachers, not minders. Our staff are trained early childhood professionals. They know your child’s name, their preferences, their quirks, and what made them laugh yesterday.
• Screens stay out. No tablets propped up to keep classrooms quiet. Real play, real conversation, real hands on learning during the hours your child is with us.
• Communication that doesn’t make you wonder. Photos, videos, and updates through the day so you actually see what your child experienced. Not a generic “had a great day” at pickup.
• A small business heart. We’re not corporate. We’re parents ourselves. We answer the phone. We know the families. We remember.

Thank you. Genuinely. Voting in a local awards list is a small act, but it’s the kind of small act that changes a small business’s year. Your votes are why we can keep investing in the people, the classrooms, and the curriculum that make Little Sprouts what it is.
