At Little Sprouts Learning Center in North Wales, we are committed to nurturing the natural curiosity and potential of every child. Our center offers a safe, engaging, and creative environment where children can grow emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. Since our doors first opened in 2015, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education with a personalized touch that makes every family feel at home.
Voted as the best by local parents for two consecutive years, our center stands out for its exceptional programs and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We actively engage with the North Wales community, participating in local events, supporting small businesses, and giving back through charitable initiatives.
We believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Our curriculum is designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Little Sprouts is not a large, impersonal corporate chain. We are privately owned, deeply rooted in the community, and committed to serving each child and family with individualized attention.
At Little Sprouts, our innovative, play-based curriculum sets the stage for a well-rounded educational experience. We integrate language, literacy, music, movement, art, and socialization to foster holistic development. Our teachers are trained to recognize the unique needs of each child, using creative, hands-on activities to inspire curiosity and build a strong foundation for future academic success. By encouraging independence and self-expression, we help children develop confidence and a positive sense of self and the world around them.
The safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art security monitoring systems, including cameras throughout the property, and a secure keyless entry system. Each family is given a unique access code, ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter the building. Our highly trained staff is certified in CPR and First Aid, and we regularly conduct fire safety and emergency preparedness drills. Additionally, we maintain strict hygiene practices, using child-safe, bleach-free cleaning products to keep our classrooms and play areas spotless and healthy.
Little Sprouts is more than just a childcare center; we are a vital part of the North Wales community. We proudly support local school sports teams, including softball, baseball, field hockey, and football. Our partnerships with local businesses, such as Montgomeryville Pizza for our popular Free Pizza Fridays, create meaningful connections that enrich our community. We also participate in charity drives, including our annual Thanksgiving food drive and backpack donation events, to teach children the importance of giving back.

Our Infant Program provides a safe, loving environment where babies are encouraged to explore and grow through sensory experiences, gentle play, and early communication. We follow each infant’s unique schedule for feeding, napping, and play, ensuring that their needs are met in a nurturing atmosphere.
Our Toddler Program is filled with engaging, play-based activities that promote language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. We work closely with parents to support potty training and encourage independence through self-directed learning and discovery.
Our Preschool & Pre-K Program focuses on school readiness, emphasizing early literacy, math, science, and social skills. With a structured curriculum that encourages problem-solving and teamwork, children are prepared to transition confidently into kindergarten and beyond.
My name is Despina (Debbie) Papadeas. I attended Temple University and graduated with a BA in Psychology with the focus of Developmental Psychology. After graduating I worked at The Goddard school of Newtown for several years. Then I became a paraprofessional working with an individual with special needs.
I knew I wanted to create a place for children to grow that was safe caring and loving where the staff had the freedom to use their creativity to teach. I wanted all our enrolling families to feel that they were a part of our family. I wanted to build a place called Little Sprouts Learning Center and that is exactly what I have done. We opened the doors to our childcare center in November of 2015 and it has been an incredible journey. With year over year growth starting with 3 staff members and caring for only their children at the time, to having 2 North Wales locations with 39 employees and 133 children enrolled.
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that is not cookie cutter nor big business like a franchise or corporate center. We pride ourselves in being privately owned and operated and we are here for every individual child and family member. With our “hands on” method of learning, children are able to bring out their inner imagination and are able to express themselves socially and emotionally. Every child is different and because of that, we are not your typical learning center.
We have 2 children of our own. 5 and 3 years old who both have gone through our centers with our 3rd child on the way and of course will attend Little Sprouts.
